Kids Can Now Draw Their Dream Vehicle for Toyota!

Did you have a dream car when you were a kid? You are not alone. Many kids have a dream car and they can get quite creative when they draw it out. Toyota, which is one of the most innovative automakers in the world, encourages this special area of creativity by hosting the 2017 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.

Toyota USA Dream Car Art Contest 2017

Since 2004, Toyota has been hosting the Dream Car Art Contest, with the American division participating in the last six years. The purpose of the contest is to get kids excited about automobiles and to consider future careers in the automotive industry—where the possibilities are truly endless! Kids are encouraged to draw their dream vehicle and submit their artwork to the contest. Submitted pieces will split into age categories judged on uniqueness, artistry, and execution of concept. Upon winning the American division, nine pieces will be sent to Japan to compete against other submission from around the world.

Prizes for 2017 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest

The prize for the American division of the 2017 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is an iPad! Upon winning the global portion of the contest, the artist (along with their parents or guardians) may receive a trip to Japan to participate in the winners’ ceremony of the 2017 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.

2017 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest Rules

The rules for the 2017 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest include:

• One submission per contestant is allowed
• Submission must be hand-drawn and non-digital; pencils, paint, and markers may be used
• Size of artwork should be limited to 15.7 inches x 21.7 inches
• Children ages four to fifteen may participate
• Submission must be received by January 31, 2017
