Labor Day Activities Pittsburgh, PA

We can’t believe that summer is coming to an end! It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating Memorial Day! Despite the impending conclusion of the summer season, there are still plenty of fun events happening in Pittsburgh on Labor Day, and we are excited to share a few of our favorites!

Labor Day Luau

Where: Howl at the Moon, 125 7th St, Pittsburgh
When: September 4-5
Howl at the Moon will be celebrating Labor Day from 7:00pm on Sunday until the wee hours on Monday! The club wanted to present something unique compared to the typical barbecue, so the event is Hawaiian themed with tropical drink specials. Attendees who show up in a Hawaiian shirt will enjoy free admission!

Pittsburgh Pirates Labor Day GamePittsburgh Pirates vs St. Louis Cardinals

Where: PNC Park
When: 4:05pm on September 5
What better way to conclude the summer by catching (pun intended) a baseball game? Watch our beloved Pittsburgh Pirates take on the St. Louis Cardinals! There are also a lot of new food items available at PNC Park, so take the opportunity to try some new craft beers, the Cracker Jack Sundae, and the Cracker Jack and Mac Dog! Labor Day Parade

Where: Downtown Pittsburgh
When: 10:00am on September 5
Enjoy Labor Day in downtown Pittsburgh by attending the Labor Day Parade! The route starts near the Greyhound station and works its way through Penn Ave. and downtown before concluding at the United Steelworkers Building (located on the Boulevard of the Allies).
