Lane Departure Alert

 

The Lane Departure Alert system can detect lane markings on the road, helps to keep you in your spot. If the system senses that you begin to veer into a different lane without using a turn signal, it is able to send you audible and visual alerts. This system is paired with Steering Assist to help steer your vehicle back into the correct lane.

 

Radar Cruise Control

 

The Dynamic Radar Cruise Control feature has been crafted to improve your drive. It works the same as regular cruise control, but radar inside of the vehicle is able to sense the distance between you and the car ahead. If you get too close, the RAV4 can automatically slow itself down. If you get too far away, the RAV4 speeds up to maintain a safe distance away.

Pedestrian Detection

 

To help keep everybody inside and outside of a vehicle safe, the RAV4 can detect pedestrians in certain situations. If it senses a possible collision, your RAV4 will alert you with ample time for you to react accordingly. If you don’t react, the RAV4 can automatically apply the brakes to help prevent a collision.
