One of the best gifts that you can give anyone for the holidays is a book. No matter how old you are, books are healthy for your mental health, increase your vocabulary, and take you to faraway places while you remain cuddled up in a blanket with a cup of tea. And they don’t require batteries, cords, or Wi-Fi (unless if you are reading from a tablet, but in this case, we are referring to good old-fashion bound books) While we enjoy shopping for books on Amazon (and may have gone overboard a time or two), we love supporting local bookstores, and Pittsburgh has lots of them! One of our favorite things about Halloween besides enjoying candy (especially from our favorite Pittsburgh-area chocolate shops) is hearing fun yet creepy ghost stories. Where to Buy Gourmet Chocolate in Pittsburgh, PA
Pennsylvania certainly has a special love for chocolate, thanks to the special town on the other side of the state. While we are always game for a road trip over to Hershey, PA once in awhile (especially in a new Toyota), we can easily buy their chocolate in any grocery store. And while we would never turn down Hershey’s chocolate, sometimes we want some gourmet chocolate (that we are not obligated to share with trick-or-treaters)!
