It’s no secret that Toyota is making big strides when it comes to autonomous driving technology. In fact, Toyota Research Institute recently came out with a video demonstrating recent developments in its Guardian and Chauffeur autonomous driving platforms. As you will be able to see in the video below, Guardian is meant for drivers who are still in control of the vehicle, but it is able to intervene in certain necessary scenarios in order to keep riders safe.
