Tire on snowy road

Tires

You always hear about traffic accidents on the highway, but now with winter on the way, there will be more people slipping and sliding. The best way to avoid this is to drive safe and to have tires that can grip the road. Getting your tires rotated or buying a new set of tires is a great way to go.

Oil Change

This one may not seem particularly about winter, but changing your oil is a great way to maintain your vehicle’s performance. Changing your oil before a big snow storm is a great way not to forget and will help your vehicle perform as intended. As the sun sets earlier, you won’t want to take the extra time to get an oil change, so you should remember to take the time and make sure your vehicle runs smoothly with some basic maintenance.

Battery

Batteries can be sapped of their energy during the winter, especially if it’s an old one. Most batteries only last 3 to 5 years, so be sure to replace it if you need to. Make sure to change your old car battery so you don’t have to worry about being stranded out in the cold.
