2018 Toyota TRD Sport models release information

When Toyota debuted the current iteration of its TRD lineup, saying the trucks and SUVs were well-received would be a gross understatement. The automaker wisely turned to its in-house experts from Toyota Racing Development to get input and gear for the TRD versions of the Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner. When the 2018 Toyota TRD models arrive at Baierl Toyota, customers of the dealership will be entering a new phase of the vehicles’ offerings with new focuses. Buyers looking at the 2018 Toyota Tundra and 2018 Toyota Sequoia have the new TRD Sport trim to consider, featuring updated branded accessories with the same rough-and-tumble capability.

[bscolumns class=”one_half”]The 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport is going to be available on a wider array of cabin/cargo box combinations. Once the new truck arrives in the Baierl Toyota showroom, the TRD Sport can be added to Tundra models with two- or four-wheel drive as well as in CrewMax and Double Cab configurations. Because Toyota engineers know when something isn’t broken, the same 5.7-liter, V-8 engine making 381 horsepower will be under the hood of the new TRD Sport model. Sport-tuned Bilstein shock absorbers, as well as TRD front and rear anti-sway bars, will be standard equipment.

Baierl Toyota customers will be able to choose the drivetrain that best suits their needs, either two- or four-wheel-drive. Like the new Tundra TRD Sport, sport-tuned Bilstein shocks and the same anti-sway bar setup will be standard.
