In all there are nine trim levels for the 2020 RAV4, that means you have a ton of options to choose from. The lineup begins with the LE trim which is fully featured in its own right with Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Above that you can drive the XLE trim, the XLE Premium, the Adventure, the TRD Off-Road, or the top Limited trim. You’ll notice that this is only six trim levels, and that’s because the other three are actually hybrids. When it comes to the hybrid lineup, you can choose between the LE Hybrid, the XLE Hybrid, or the top Limited Hybrid.
Are you curious about features like all-wheel drive? You’re looking at an SUV in the Pittsburgh area, so chances are all-wheel drive is at least on your wish list. You have nothing to worry about as every trim is either AWD standard or at least offers it as an option. The hybrid trims are all-wheel drive only and the Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims are also all-wheel drive only.
When it comes to performance, the RAV4 includes a standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. With this high-displacement engine, you can get up to 203 horsepower and 187 pound-feet of torque while still getting up to 28-city mpg and 35-highway mpg (in front-wheel drive). The hybrid powerplants use a similar gas engine but also utilize a 118-horsepower electric motor that can produce up to 149 pound-feet of torque. These hybrid models can get up to 41-city mpg and 38-highway mpg.
