Changes for the 2018 Toyota Camry

The 2018 Toyota Camry coming soon to the Baierl Toyota showroom, has all of the elements in place to continue its streak of being the most popular midsize sedan in the United States. When the new Camry finally arrives, Baierl Toyota customers will be struck by the radical changes made to the new car. The automaker has used its cutting edge Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), to implement the changes made to the 2018 Toyota Camry. By using this innovative platform, Toyota has accomplished its goal of making the new Camry instantly recognizable from several hundred yards away. Baierl Toyota should be taking its first delivery of the 2018 Camry in the very near future. It will certainly be here before the end of the summer.

“With an exhilarating design, refined interior, stirring driving performance, cutting-edge safety and technology, and class-leading fuel efficiency, the all-new Camry retains its excellent value while raising its level of fun and excitement to new heights,” Bill Fay, Toyota senior vice president of automotive operations said in a press release.  “It is, quite simply, the best Camry ever and the benchmark in the mid-size sedan segment.”

Sleeker, more aggressive 2018 Camry

It would be very easy for someone to mistake all of the changes made to the 2018 Toyota Camry as the manufacturer building a brand new model. Even from a fair distance, the new Toyota midsize sedan has a distinctly sportier look. The whole platform sits lower to the ground and the brand new two-piece grille has what it needs to become an icon in the segment.

During the development phase of building the new Toyota Camry, the automaker employed several new manufacturing techniques. The end result is a lighter Camry sedan that doesn’t lose rigidity. For the driver, this means that the, already precise-handling, Camry platform is better suited to attacking curves and carving up the road.

2018 Toyota Camry: Technology upgrades

The centerpiece of the new technology upgrades in the 2018 Toyota Camry is the vehicle’s three interlinked displays. Relaying information to drivers and passengers are a 10-inch color heads-up display, a 7-inch multi-information display inside of the center gauge cluster and an 8-inch display for audio, navigation and climate control systems. Each of these displays uses the same kind of interfacing techniques used by smartphones, so owners will be almost instantly comfortable with them.
