How the 2023 Toyota Sienna Fares Better than Other Minivans


The third consecutive year of the hybrid-only generation also marks the 25th anniversary of the Sienna. A special anniversary edition has been launched with 2,525 units, and they come with sporty design features inherited from the XSE trim. It wears either Celestial Silver or Wind Chill Pearl exterior paint and rolls on special 20-inch wheels. Other significant additions to the model include black exterior badging and integrated puddle lights in the exterior mirrors. 

 

Housed inside the 2023 Sienna is a hybrid powertrain comprising a 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine and a pair of electric motors, collectively generating 245 horsepower. A standard front-wheel drive and continuously variable transmission mate with this engine. Toyota adds an optional all-wheel drive to the lineup, which comes with a third electric motor to power the rear wheels.
