What trim levels is the 2019 Highlander Nightshade Edition available with?

For the 2019 model year, the Nightshade Edition is only available on the SE trim level. The SE trim is near the middle of the Highlander lineup being above the LE, LE Plus, and XLE, but beneath the Limited.

Before the Nightshade Edition package is added, the SE Highlander already comes with black 19-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, a black leather interior, and the Entune Premium Audio system with integrated navigation.

What comes with the Highlander Nightshade Edition?

The Nightshade Edition adds several black accents to the Highlander including black window trim, mirror caps, lug nuts, door handles, shark-fin antenna, and door trim.

The Nightshade Edition also adds a black rear spoiler, black badges, and premium red stitching on the interior floor mats.

How much does the Nightshade Edition package cost?

Many similarly blacked-out versions of SUVs and cars from other brands cost several thousand dollars, but this is a Toyota.

As such, the Nightshade Edition adds just $700 to the MSRP. Since the starting MSRP of the Highlander SE is $40,790 that brings us up to $41,490 for the Highlander SE Nightshade Edition.

What exterior colors is the Nightshade Edition Highlander available in?

We’ve covered the color options for the 2019 Toyota Highlander quite extensively, but as you may expect, the Nightshade Edition is only available with certain colors. Interestingly, the Nightshade Edition Highlander isn’t available in black like many of the other Nightshade Edition models from Toyota. The available exterior colors include Blizzard Pearl, Predawn Gray Mica, and Salsa Red Pearl.
