The 2022 Toyota Prius is available in three trims – L Eco, LE, and LE AWD-e. Under the hood of the standard 2022 Toyota Prius is a 1.8-Liter 4-Cylinder Aluminum DOHC 16-Valve hybrid engine with VVT-i. The 2022 Prius can be driven in EV, Eco, or Power modes and can generate a net total of 121 horsepower at 90 kW, and 105 lb-ft of torque. An Electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT) system sends engine power to the front wheels of the 2022 Toyota Prius. However, an optional all-wheel drive is also available.
