2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Available Features

Toyota is an automotive brand that offers a large selection of vehicles including sedans, hybrids, SUVs, and trucks. While these models by themselves are pretty awesome, some of them become even cooler with the TRD version. TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development which means when you see that on a model, you’ll be guaranteed a more intense driving experience. While many of the current models have this option, today we will be focusing on the 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD model and its available features.

First, the Toyota Tundra TRD comes standard with a set of forged-aluminum BBS® wheels. These wheels help reduce unsprung mass by 3.5 pounds per wheel, improve cornering ability, and enhance overall ride quality. In the front, there are TRD-tuned springs coiled around heavy-duty FOX® shocks with a 46-mm piston and 11 bypass zones to help control the extra 1.5 inches of travel. In the rear, there is an extra two inches of travel which is controlled by FOX® shocks with 12 bypass zones and 2.5-inch piggyback reservoirs. Underneath the Tundra TRD Pro, there is a 0.25-inch aluminum skid plate that protects the underside of the body and adds a little extra attitude.

The mandrel-bent black chrome tuned dual exhaust helps to make the Tundra look even tougher while also showing off the rumble of the 5.7-liter V8 engine. Enjoy impeccable vision no matter where you drive with the Rigid Industries® LED fog lights with a 35-degree wide-angle beam pattern. Last, but not least, the Tundra TRD Pro interior is adorned with leather-trimmed seating complete with TRD Pro logos. Red stitching accents throughout the dahs, seats, and armrests add a pop of subtle contrast.
